A cannabis cultivation operation has been uncovered in Dover following a tip-off received by local police.
Beat officers, acting on information submitted through the My Community Voice (MCV) platform, executed a search warrant at a property in Maison Dieu Place on Wednesday afternoon, February 19, 2025. Inside, they discovered approximately 250 cannabis plants. The plants were seized, and an investigation is underway.
Sergeant Gavin Rolfe emphasized the importance of community input in disrupting organized crime, stating:
“We take all information we receive from the local community seriously.”
He added that the tip led to the dismantling of a “sophisticated cannabis cultivation” and urged residents to report any suspicions of drug production or sales.
My Community Voice is a two-way communication tool that allows residents to report local issues and helps police tailor their response. More information about MCV can be found on the Kent Police website.
