Dartford police have seized a cache of weapons, including knives, an extendable baton, and a knuckle duster, alongside drugs, following the arrest of a 27-year-old man.

Officers conducting patrols in Green Street Green Road in the early hours of Saturday, February 22, 2025, responded to reports of suspicious activity. A subsequent search of an individual uncovered cannabis, deal bags, and two mobile phones, leading to his initial arrest on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.

A further search of a nearby property revealed a significant quantity of weapons, resulting in the suspect’s re-arrest. The investigation is ongoing.

Chief Inspector Will Lay said:

‘The weapons that my officers recovered have no place in our communities. We are committed to stamping out violent crime and drugs misuse in Kent, and by taking items such as these off the streets, we continue to make our county a safer place in which to live, visit and work.’
