Two men from Croydon, both aged 22, have been arrested and two suspected stolen motorbikes seized after a police chase through Gravesend. The incident followed reports of dangerous driving in the area.
Kent Police patrols initiated a stop on two motorcyclists around 2pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Hall Road, using blue lights and sirens. However, the riders allegedly ignored the signals, running red lights and driving on the wrong side of the road before officers lost sight of them.
A swift investigation led officers to a rear garden on Hayes Road, where the suspects were located and apprehended. They were arrested on suspicion of a range of offences, including theft, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving under the influence of drugs, and driving without insurance.
The two motorbikes were also seized by police. The arrested men have been conditionally bailed pending further investigation.
