Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered multiple injuries in a violent assault on Moore Road, Swanscombe, late Wednesday night. The incident, which occurred around 10:45 PM on March 12, 2025, has prompted a full investigation.
Officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a serious assault. According to police, the victim, a passenger in a stationary vehicle, was attacked by a group of people who arrived in vehicles travelling in the opposite direction.
“The victim was subjected to a vicious assault after his vehicle came to a stop,” a police spokesperson stated. “He managed to flee on foot and was later treated at hospital for his injuries. Thankfully, he has since been discharged.”
The suspects are believed to have fled the scene in the same vehicles in which they arrived.
Detectives are now urging anyone with information to come forward.
“We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam, doorbell footage, or CCTV that could assist our investigation,” the spokesperson added.
