Six men have been charged following a brutal aggravated burglary near Maidstone, which left a resident with life-altering injuries. The incident, which occurred in Coxheath, prompted a swift and extensive police investigation.
Police responded to an emergency call placed shortly after 8:10 PM on December 23, 2024, reporting a group forcing entry into a property located near Heath Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two occupants had been violently assaulted with a metal bar and a bladed weapon. The assailants allegedly stole a watch before fleeing the scene in two vehicles.
A search of the area led to the recovery of a knife and a crowbar. One male victim, in his 40s, sustained severe injuries, including head and arm trauma, requiring hospital treatment. A second male victim, also in his 40s, was treated for a serious head injury.
Between December 31, 2024, and March 3, 2025, ten people, eight men and two women, were apprehended in connection with the violent crime. Six men, aged 23, 23, 24, 25, 27, and 41, have been formally charged with aggravated burglary. They have been remanded in custody by magistrates and await future court appearances.
Two women, aged 23 and 64, and a 21-year-old man have been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.
