A third individual has been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary that occurred near Folkestone. The incident, which involved threats and the theft of valuables, took place at a residential property in the Corbett Road area of Hawkinge between 9:50 pm and 10:20 pm on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
Police responded to reports from the property’s occupants, who detailed the theft of watches and wall clocks.
A 33-year-old man from Canterbury was charged on Thursday, March 13, with conspiracy to burgle and possession of cannabis. He appeared before magistrates on Friday, March 14, and was subsequently released on bail. He is scheduled to appear at Crown Court on April 14.
This latest charge follows an ongoing investigation that resulted in the arrest and charging of two individuals in November. Their case is set to be heard at Crown Court on Thursday, March 27.
