Witnesses and dashcam footage are being sought by officers investigating a fatal collision on the M25 near Orpington. The incident happened on the clockwise carriageway between junctions 3 and 4, at around 9.55pm on Friday 21 March 2025.
Police say a silver BMW Z4 was being driven towards Sevenoaks when it is reported to have left the motorway on the nearside before stopping on the carriageway. The vehicle was then involved in a collision with a blue Nissan Note that had been travelling in the same direction. Emergency services attended the scene where the driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, was confirmed to be deceased. His next of kin has been informed.
An investigation into the circumstances is underway. Anyone who saw what happened or who may have dashcam footage of the vehicles prior to the incident, should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
