Kent Police was called to the St Peter’s area of Broadstairs at 6.50pm on Thursday 20 March 2025. Officers arrived at a property with South East Coast Ambulance Service where a woman in her 20s was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds.
She was rushed to a London hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
A woman who was known to the victim has been arrested and an investigation into the incident begun.
On Saturday 22 March, a woman from Broadstairs was charged with attempted murder. The 53 year old has since been remanded in custody to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 24 March.
