Detectives are urgently seeking witnesses after a reported hit-and-run collision in Maidstone left a motorcyclist with severe leg injuries. The incident, involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck, occurred on Staceys Street at approximately 9:54 pm on Monday, March 17th, 2025.

Kent Police responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision, but upon arrival, discovered that a pickup truck had left the scene. Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended to the injured motorcyclist, who was subsequently transported to hospital for treatment.

Following a search of the surrounding area, officers located a white Mitsubishi pickup truck on a nearby street. A man in his 20s, from the local area, was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on bail pending further investigation.

Investigators are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information that could assist their inquiries. They are particularly keen to speak with individuals who have not yet come forward to the police.
