Kent Police was called to a private address in Firs Lane at 10.45am on Friday 4 April 2025 where they found a man in his 50s who had sustained serious injuries, including one consistent with a stab wound. He was taken to a London hospital for treatment.

Shortly afterwards, a car was stopped in the Dymchurch area, and officers arrested two men, aged 45 and 40, in connection with the assault. An additional two men, aged 24 and 73, were later arrested on the same day. They all currently remain in custody. All parties are understood to be known to each other and officers do not believe there is a wider threat to the public.
