Police are appealing for information following two alleged assaults at a public house in Headcorn last month.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 pm on Thursday, March 6th, 2025, at the George and Dragon pub, in the High Street.

According to investigators, two men, aged in their 30s and 50s, were reportedly attacked by a group of men while inside the premises. Both victims sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment but have since been discharged.

Detectives launched an investigation into the incident, leading to the arrest of a 39-year-old man from Maidstone on suspicion of assault on Tuesday, April 1st. He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and who has not yet spoken to the police to contact them.
