Police have launched an appeal for information and released CCTV images following the alleged assault of a 14-year-old girl in a Maidstone town centre shop last month.

The incident reportedly occurred at approximately 5:20 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025, inside the Primark store on Week Street. According to reports, the victim was followed into the premises by a man and a woman. The teenager was then allegedly subjected to a sustained attack, during which she was pulled to the floor by her hair and kicked in the head.

Authorities also stated that another woman, who was with the two main suspects, verbally abused the victim. As a result of the assault, the 14-year-old sustained injuries including hair loss and bruising to her head and knees.

Kent Police have now released CCTV images of a woman and a man they are seeking to identify in connection with the incident. They are urging anyone who recognizes the individuals or has any information that could assist their investigation to come forward.
