The incident happened as the victim was travelling on the 480 bus service between Gravesend and Dartford, at around 5pm on Tuesday 25 February 2025 where it is alleged, a man the woman did not know, touched her over her clothing and made lewd comments before getting off the vehicle.
Officers have been completing enquiries including the examination of CCTV footage along the bus route.
The investigation has now led to the creation of a computer-generated image of the suspect, who spoke in a foreign accent and was wearing a dark raincoat and blue jeans. He was also carrying a rucksack and a can of beer in his hand, as well a plastic carrier bag containing further cans.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police, or anyone who recognises the image of the suspect, to contact them.
