A 32-year-old man from Sidcup is in custody following the serious assault of another man in the car park of a Sainsbury’s supermarket on St John’s Road, Tunbridge Wells.
Kent Police were called to the scene at 7:22 PM on Sunday, April 27, 2025, following reports of a violent altercation.
Preliminary investigations suggest the incident occurred after a disagreement over a parking space escalated, resulting in the victim being punched. The injured man sustained serious head injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital. Authorities have confirmed his condition is currently stable.
Later that evening, police apprehended the suspect in connection with the assault. He remains in custody while detectives continue their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
