A 32-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm following a serious assault in a Tunbridge Wells supermarket car park on Sunday, April 27.

Police were called to Sainsbury’s on St John’s Road at 7:22PM after a reported dispute over a parking space allegedly led to a man being punched. The victim sustained serious head injuries and was hospitalized.

A man from Sidcup, was arrested the same night and appeared in Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled for a further hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on May 27.
