The fight against the supply of heroin has continued with the swift arrest of a man in Medway.
On Thursday 8 May 2025, patrols were near Luton, Chatham where they saw a suspected drug dealer starting to exit a property. The man promptly went back into the house and a short while later a constable detained a person at the rear of the premises.
He was taken into custody where a search led to the seizure of multiple wraps of heroin and a mobile phone.
A man was later charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and being concerned in the supply of heroin and cannabis.
The 18-year-old appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 6 June.
