Three arrests have been made after officers in Canterbury found and recovered a car reported stolen just hours earlier.

The black Honda, which was reported stolen from the Harbledown area of the city in the early hours of Friday 9 May 2025, was spotted by officers later the same day as it travelled along the A2 towards Faversham. It failed to stop when requested to do so and was then seen overtaking other vehicles at high speed.

Officers on duty in the area were able to bring the vehicle to a stop, resulting in the car being recovered.

Two men, aged 53 and 40, and a woman aged 27, were all arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft. The 53 year old man was also arrested on suspicion of driving offences including drug driving. They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
