Three individuals have been taken into custody following the discovery and retrieval of a car reported stolen in the Canterbury area.

The vehicle, a black Honda, was reported missing from the Harbledown area in the early hours of Friday, May 9, 2025. Law enforcement located the car later the same day as it travelled along a major route towards a neighbouring town. The driver reportedly failed to stop when signalled and was seen overtaking other vehicles at speed.

Officers in the vicinity successfully brought the vehicle to a halt, leading to its recovery.

Two males, aged 53 and 40, and a 27-year-old female were apprehended on suspicion of vehicle theft. The 53-year-old male was also arrested on suspicion of driving offences, including driving under the influence of drugs.

All three have been released on bail while investigations continue.
