Suspected Class A Dealers Face Charges After Dartford Stop

Multiple deals of suspected Class A drugs have been seized by Dartford officers following the stop of a vehicle acting suspiciously.

Shortly before 10 am on Friday, May 16th, patrolling constables in the Joyce Green Lane area observed a Nissan Qashqai making two stops for pedestrians who approached the car. Suspecting drug supply activity, officers stopped the vehicle in Attlee Road and detained a man and a woman for a search. This led to the seizure of 65 deals of suspected cocaine and heroin, and both individuals were taken into custody.

A 30-year-old from the Welling area of London and a 22-year-old from the Bexleyheath area of London have since been charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply and possessing cocaine with intent to supply. The male suspect was additionally charged with driving without insurance.

Both appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 17th. The male suspect was remanded in custody for a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on a date to be determined, while the female suspect was bailed to the same court on Friday, June 13th.
