Police arrested four individuals following a report of disorder and antisocial behaviour on King Street at 9:35 pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with a head injury, who was treated and discharged from a local hospital. Two teenagers and two men were arrested. One teenager was bailed, while the other three remain in custody on suspicion of actual bodily harm, possession of a Class B substance, and possession of an offensive weapon.

Inspector Richard Batten said:

‘As a force we are committed to reducing violence and antisocial behaviour and will always take the appropriate action against those who cause problems within local communities.’
