Speedy Action Leads to Arrest After Porsche Theft

A suspected car thief was apprehended within minutes of allegedly stealing a Porsche from a residence near St John’s Road in Tunbridge Wells.

Kent Police were alerted to the theft at 2:48 am on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Patrol officers swiftly located the stolen vehicle a short distance away in Bright Ridge.

Upon discovery, the Porsche was stationary with its engine running, and a suspect was observed inside. The individual attempted to evade authorities on foot but was quickly apprehended. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded stolen number plates belonging to another vehicle in the Tunbridge Wells area.

The suspect, a 25-year-old man from Boston, Lincolnshire, has been released on bail with strict conditions while further investigations are conducted.
