Two men have been arrested following a tragic two-vehicle collision in Dartford on Sunday, June 1, 2025, that resulted in the death of a four-year-old boy and left two other people injured.

Kent Police were called to New Barn Road just before 9:30 PM that evening. Three occupants from one of the vehicles were rushed to the hospital.

The four-year-old boy sadly succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. A 24-year-old man from the same vehicle remains in critical condition, while a one-year-old girl sustained minor injuries.

On Monday, June 2, 2025, officers arrested a 27-year-old man from Darenth and a 53-year-old man from Swanley in connection with the incident. Both remain in custody as detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision involving two grey Ford Rangers.
