Two men are in custody following a swift police response to a reported break-in at a car dealership on Longfield Road in Tunbridge Wells. Officers apprehended the suspects shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
Police were called to reports of intruders at the premises. Upon arrival, patrols quickly located and detained two men, both believed to be in their 30s. A vehicle associated with the suspects was also seized at the scene, and it was found to contain several suspected stolen car batteries.
Following the arrests, investigators conducted a search of a property in Tonbridge believed to be linked to the suspects. This search led to the discovery and recovery of additional suspicious items. Both men remain in custody as inquiries continue into the incident and the recovered items.
