Firefighters tackled an early morning blaze at a commercial property on the High Street in Dymchurch on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident at 4:28am. Two fire engines quickly responded, with crews donning breathing apparatus and using high-pressure hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. The incident was brought under control by 5:44am.

Thankfully, there are no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
