Police are appealing for witnesses following a violent daytime disturbance in Parkwood, where men were reportedly seen wielding weapons after a road traffic collision.
The incident unfolded on Wallis Avenue at approximately 4:00pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, when a black Mazda 6 and a red Seat were involved in a collision. Occupants from both vehicles then exited onto the street, engaging in a confrontation during which threats were allegedly made with weapons, including knives. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Within two hours of the incident, by 5:40pm , officers had identified and arrested two men on suspicion of affray. Both suspects have since been bailed as investigations continue. Authorities are actively working to locate and apprehend additional suspects involved in the altercation.
