A man has been charged following a series of alleged voyeurism offences in Canterbury. Authorities began investigating after receiving reports of suspicious activity in the city centre on Monday, June 30.

The investigation involved interviewing victims and reviewing CCTV footage from local businesses. It’s alleged that the individual entered changing rooms within stores and used a mobile phone to covertly photograph women. These incidents reportedly occurred on three separate dates: Wednesday, May 14; Monday, May 19; and Monday, June 30, 2025.

The suspect was arrested on Monday, June 30, and subsequently charged with three counts of voyeurism. He was held to appear in Margate Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 2, and has since been released on strict bail conditions.
