A Snodland man has been charged following a serious assault that left a victim in critical condition.

The accused aged 31 was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after an incident near Amisse Drive on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Police and ambulance services responded to a disturbance at 3:07 PM, finding a man in his 50s who had reportedly been punched. He was airlifted to a London hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The 31-year-old was arrested on Wednesday, July 2, and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 4. He has been released on conditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on August 1.
