A chilling act of unspeakable depravity has come to light with the conviction of a Dartford man who murdered a sleeping woman before sexually abusing her body. Ernestas Juska, 21, admitted to the horrific crime at Maidstone Crown Court on 18 July 2025.
The gruesome details unfolded after Juska approached a member of the public in Wordsworth Way, Dartford, on the morning of August 17, 2024, chillingly instructing them to “call police as he had killed someone.” Responding officers quickly apprehended him at a nearby bus stop, where he directed them to his Dartford home.
Inside the property, police discovered the 39-year-old victim, a family friend who had been staying overnight, deceased in a bed with multiple catastrophic stab wounds.
Juska confessed to officers that he had consumed alcohol and cocaine the night before the attack. In a chilling admission, he described choosing a large kitchen knife around 6:40am on the day of the murder, then entering the bedroom and brutally attacking the unsuspecting victim as she slept. He chillingly stated he killed her because he wanted “to lash out” and that it was “important she wasn’t someone who was close to him.”
Even more horrifying, Juska admitted to later committing a sexual offence against the deceased woman. He pleaded guilty to both murder and committing a sexual offence against a deceased female. Juska is set to be sentenced on November 28.
Detective Sergeant Max Gregory said:
‘The depravity of Juska’s actions is almost indescribable. He inflicted horrific injuries to his defenceless victim and admitted he had no real motive for killing her other than wanting to harm someone who wasn’t related to him.
‘During police interviews he spoke of the excitement he felt in the moments leading up to this barbaric murder. For Juska to then commit further heinous acts on the deceased woman is beyond comprehension.
‘Juska’s crimes have ultimately led to the senseless loss of a beloved daughter and sister and our thoughts remain with her family.’
