Two individuals have been charged in connection with a serious assault at a Rochester nightclub last Sunday. The incident, which left a man needing hospital treatment, took place at the Casino Rooms on Blue Boar Lane between 2:30 AM and 2:50 AM on Sunday, July 20, 2025.
Police reported that the victim, a man in his 30s, was in a smoking area when he was allegedly assaulted with a weapon. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of cuts and has since been discharged. A man was arrested on the morning of the attack, and a teenage boy was apprehended on Wednesday, July 23. Both have been charged with unlawful wounding. The teenager also faces charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm and possessing a knife in a public place. Both were remanded in custody and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 25.
