Police are appealing for dashcam footage following a serious collision on the A282 near Dartford that left a motorcyclist with significant injuries. The incident, involving a black Mercedes GLA and a black Honda CB600 motorcycle, occurred at approximately 7:35 PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025.
Both vehicles were traveling from the Dartford River Crossing towards the A2 when the collision took place at the slip road for Princes Road. Emergency services, including officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene where the motorcyclist received treatment for serious injuries before being transported to a hospital for further medical attention. They have since been discharged.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 32-year-old man from London, was arrested on suspicion of failing to provide a sample for a breath or drug test and causing serious injury through dangerous driving. He has been released on bail while investigations continue.
Authorities are urging any motorists who were in the vicinity with dashcam recording devices to review their footage for anything relevant to the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 01474 366149, quoting reference 20-1280.
