The public’s assistance is sought by officers investigating a serious assault at 1.48am on Saturday 2 August 2025, in which a man was involved in an altercation in Harbour Parade. He was reportedly attacked with a blunt object by a man not known to him.
The suspect left the scene before patrols arrived. The victim required hospital treatment and has since been discharged. Officers have carried out house-to-house and an in-depth review of all available CCTV footage. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the altercation or who may have information about the incident.
