A third person has been charged with murder following an investigation into the death of a man in Sittingbourne. The charge comes after Kent Police were called to St Michael’s Road on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at approximately 9:30pm. following a report of a collision.
It is alleged that a pedestrian, a man in his 30s, fell from a wall after being pursued and was struck by a vehicle near the junction with Dover Street. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. A man, aged 37, was arrested on Thursday, August 7, and subsequently charged with murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice. He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, August 9.
Two other men, aged 33 and 43, had previously been arrested and charged with murder. The 43-year-old was also charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine. They have been remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court at a later date.
