Kent Police have arrested two additional suspects in connection with a serious assault that occurred in Margate early Saturday morning. A total of three people have now been taken into custody. The incident, which is being treated as a stabbing, took place on Northdown Road near its junction with Ethelbert Road shortly after 3am on Saturday, August 9.

Emergency services, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, arrived at the scene to find a man in his 40s with an injury consistent with a stab wound. The victim was transported to a London hospital, where his condition is described as serious but stable. A 20-year-old man from Thanet was initially arrested on Saturday morning and has since been released on bail. Later that same day, two women from Thanet, aged 25 and 27, were also detained. Both women have also been bailed as the investigation continues with detectives are currently reviewing CCTV footage and conducting a forensic examination of the scene. Police are urging any witnesses to come forward with information.
