Murder Investigation Launched in Gravesend After Man Dies from Stab Wounds

A murder investigation is underway in Gravesend after a man in his 30s died from stab wounds he sustained during a late-night disturbance.

Kent Police were called to Augustine Road at 10:21pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, following reports of a fight involving a group of men and women outside a private property. Although the individuals had left by the time officers arrived, a man was taken to a local hospital shortly after with injuries consistent with being stabbed. He later died while receiving treatment. On Wednesday, August 13, a 33-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested in connection with the incident.

A murder investigation is now underway with cordons in place in Augustine Road. Detectives are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact them.
