A significant seizure of suspected stolen vehicle parts has been made by police, leading to charges against a man and a woman in connection with the theft of dozens of Land Rovers across the country.
Hundreds of parts, including shipping containers filled with wheels and piles of steering racks, were uncovered during a search warrant executed at an address in Ashford. The items are believed to be linked to at least 40 stolen vehicles. Following the raid, a man and a woman from Maidstone were arrested. After a thorough investigation, they have now been formally charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, receiving stolen goods, and money laundering. They are scheduled to appear in court next month.
