Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was verbally threatened in an unprovoked incident in Folkestone. The event occurred around 12:50pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, on Bouverie Road West.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, reported being approached by a man who became verbally abusive and made threats to harm her. The suspect then entered a black or dark grey vehicle and continued his abusive behaviour before driving away.
The suspect is described as a white man, topless, wearing black three-quarter-length shorts, and having a bloodshot eye.
Authorities are specifically looking to speak with a member of the public who checked on the victim’s welfare immediately after the incident.
