Firefighters are continuing to monitor a controlled burn of a large manure pile on Brockmans Lane in Kingsnorth, Ashford. The blaze started late on Friday 22 August.

It’s reported crews are allowing the manure pile to burn in a controlled manner, which is expected to continue smouldering and producing smoke. Residents living nearby are urged to keep their windows and doors closed. Firefighters are making regular visits to the site, and the landowner is assisting with monitoring the situation.
