A 60-year-old woman has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following a serious assault in a multi-storey car park in Sittingbourne.
Police and paramedics were called to the car park on East Street just before 8pm on Wednesday, August 27, where they found a woman in her 40s with what appeared to be stab wounds. The victim was taken to a London hospital for treatment. She has since been discharged.
Later that same night, officers arrested a woman in Sittingbourne, in connection with the incident. The woman was also charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place. She was remanded in custody and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 29.
