Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in Swanley that left two motorcyclists with significant injuries. The incident, involving a black Mercedes saloon and a red Honda motorbike, occurred on London Road on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Emergency services, including Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, were dispatched to the scene near the junction with Birchwood Road at approximately 4:35pm. The two people on the motorbike—the driver and a passenger—sustained serious injuries and were transported to a London hospital for urgent medical care. Meanwhile the driver of the Mercedes who was unharmed stopped at the scene. Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant information to come forward. Drivers who were in the area around the time of the incident are also asked to review their dashcam footage.
