Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage, and CCTV after a driver was violently assaulted by a gang of moped riders at Fawkham near Sevenoaks last night.
The incident occurred just after 6pm on Thursday, August 14, 2025, on Scratchers Lane, close to the junction with the A20 Main Road. The victim, whose name has not been released, reportedly confronted three mopeds being ridden in an antisocial manner when he was set upon by six individuals.
During the attack, the driver was struck multiple times, suffering cuts and bruising to his face. The assailants fled the scene on their mopeds before police arrived. An investigation is now underway to piece together the full circumstances of the assault.
