Police in Dover have uncovered a massive cannabis cultivation operation, seizing over 1,000 plants from a disused warehouse.
The discovery was made on Tuesday, September 9, after a utility company alerted authorities to a suspicious spike in electricity usage at a building on Coombe Valley Road. At approximately 12:49 p.m., Kent Police officers entered the premises and found more than 1,000 cannabis plants, along with a sophisticated ventilation system. The site has since been secured as an investigation gets underway. No arrests have been made so far.
