An electrical fault is believed to be the cause of a car fire that occurred Sunday evening at Dover’s Eastern Docks.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene at 5:00pm, where three fire engines and a bulk water carrier responded to the incident. Firefighters used hose reel jets to quickly extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported, and crews had the fire under control within 26 minutes.
