Fire crews are urging the public to stay away from Victoria Parade in Broadstairs this afternoon as they battle a kitchen fire in a block of flats.
Three fire engines and a height vehicle are on the scene, with firefighters using breathing apparatus to contain the blaze. The incident began around 4:39pm on Sunday, September 21. Residents, workers, and those travelling near the area are advised to seek an alternative route. Authorities are also asking locals to share this warning with anyone who may be affected but doesn’t have access to the internet.
