A 65-year-old man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run incident in Faversham on Saturday evening. Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage as the investigation continues.

The man was walking in the North Lane area around 7:50pm on September 27 when he was struck by a vehicle near the junction with Partridge Lane. The driver failed to stop and left the scene. Emergency services were called and the victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains in a critical condition.

Following the collision, police have arrested three people in connection with the incident. A white Nissan flatbed/tipper van has also been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are leading the case and are urging anyone who may have seen the collision or the movements of the Nissan van to come forward. Drivers in the area at the time are asked to review their dashcam footage for any potentially useful information.
