Ashford Borough Council’s very own lettings agency, ABC Lettings, is celebrating a huge win after scooping a top honour at the Kent Housing Group (KHG) Excellence Awards! The agency was recognised for its phenomenal work, which has helped thousands of people facing homelessness find safe and secure new homes in the private rented sector.
ABC Lettings won the coveted prize in the Private Sector Housing category at a packed awards ceremony in Northfleet. The judges had nothing but praise for the team, calling their work “truly exemplary.” Since launching in 2012, ABC Lettings has been a powerhouse, providing “excellent services to landlords and tenants alike.” Tenants have particularly highlighted the team’s “caring, helpful and informative approach,” which makes a world of difference when you’re looking for a new place.
The KHG judges were impressed by the agency’s effectiveness and innovation, noting how ABC Lettings “shines through” by:
- Sustaining tenancies (keeping people in their homes!).
- Improving housing standards in the private rented sector.
- Generating income for the council—all this even with the tough challenges in today’s housing market!
