A man in his 40s is fighting for his life after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car in St Margaret’s at Cliffe yesterday afternoon. The collision on Dover Road around 2:50 pm on Saturday, 4 October 2025, involved an orange Honda bike and a grey Citroen C4.
Kent Police officers were called to the scene, near the junction of Station Road and High Street, following the crash. Investigators say the motorcyclist was travelling toward the junction when he was involved in the collision with the Citroen C4, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The injured motorcyclist was transported to a London hospital, where he remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now appealing to the public for information and is urging anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either the orange Honda or the grey Citroen C4 in the moments leading up to it to come forward. Witnesses are asked to call 01622 798538, quoting reference XX/VS/068/25. Anyone with relevant dashcam footage is also encouraged to upload it via the police’s online portal.
