Drug Raids Net Four Arrests and Over £50,000 in Seizures Across Canterbury and Herne Bay

Kent Police officers have seized a significant haul of suspected Class A and B drugs, more than £40,000 in cash, and over £10,000 worth of designer goods following a series of coordinated drug raids across Canterbury and Herne Bay. The operation commenced in the early hours of Thursday, October 2, 2025, when officers executed warrants at three separate residential addresses.

The raids targeted properties in the Thanington and Military Road areas of Canterbury, as well as the Bullockstone Road area of Herne Bay. The action followed intelligence gathered by Kent Police linking the addresses to the suspected supply of illegal drugs. During searches conducted under the Misuse of Drugs Act, officers successfully seized large quantities of both suspected Class A and Class B drugs across all three locations.

In addition to the narcotics, police recovered a substantial amount of cash, believed to be in excess of £40,000. They also confiscated a significant collection of designer items, including handbags, coats, trainers, and jewellery, with an estimated street value exceeding £10,000. Four people were arrested as part of the intelligence-led operation: a 26-year-old man, a 43-year-old woman, a 27-year-old man, and a 25-year-old woman. All have since been released on bail as the investigation remains ongoing.
