Police were called at 7.45am on Thursday 9 October 2025, after a motorcycle was involved in a collision with a van on the A20 Ashford Road.
The incident between the junctions for Hook Lane and Fairbourne Lane was attended by officers along with South East Coast Ambulance Service. The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s from Medway, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Enquiries are being led by officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU). Motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any relevant dashcam footage which may show a black Suzuki motorcycle and a white Mercedes Sprinter van. The van driver stopped at the scene.
