Painful Blow for Delivery Drivers: 45 Stopped in Thanet Crackdown


Kent Police have delivered a blow to unlawful practices among delivery drivers in Thanet, concluding a fourth successful road traffic policing operation focused on rooting out those operating without proper documentation, insurance, or licences.

The latest operation, which took place on Friday, September 26, 2025, saw officers set up near Westwood Cross in Broadstairs, utilizing both marked and unmarked vehicles for proactive stop checks. A total of 45 vehicles were stopped, yielding a significant number of offences and resulting in several arrests.
