A man has been charged following a violent incident at a Rochester town centre pub that left one person with facial injuries. The disturbance happened at ‘Ye Arrow’ on High Street around 10:15 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025. It’s alleged a victim was assaulted and a corrosive liquid was thrown, hitting their face. The victim was treated in hospital for injuries deemed not life-threatening.

A 22-year-old man from Hornchurch in Essex was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, affray, and possessing an offensive weapon. He’s been held in custody and is due to appear in Medway Magistrates’ Court today. Three others remain on bail as the police investigation continues.
